Soliloquy

Do you remember those moments?

When yours intriguing smiles made me fall for you,
Our sweet –talks over a cup of an Irish coffee,
Those letters, hidden within the books,
Our walking on the beach during those scorching summer days,
Those monsoon rains, impelling us for an embrace,
When we first kissed on a frigid winter day,
My serenade which driven you to guffaw,

Do you remember?

That evening when I proposed you to marry,
Our new bright red house by the sea,
Those blissful tears when I became a father,
When our baby girl took her first step,
Those bleak days when only you were my hope,

The pondering seems endless,
Thoughts escapes through my voice,
As I sit by your tomb with the bouquet of those moments,
Which are now my trivial conversations to self,
 Which are nothing but memories,
Etched forever on the pages of past
